Meet Scott McDougal, LPC-MHSP
Licensed Professional Counselor - Mental Health Service Provder
In my life outside the counseling office, I live simply. I have a wife and three boys. My oldest son, Austin passed away unexpectedly in 2021. Which as I'm sure you would imagine, has greatly impacted me and my work. My experience in life enriches my understanding of relationship dynamics, balancing life's challenges, and the importance of personal growth and happiness, both for ourselves and for the people around us.
I am a long-term practitioner of meditation and mindfulness. These disciplines, I not only practice in my personal life but also incorporate into my therapeutic approach. I’ve often attend week-long silent meditation retreats, deepening my practice and cultivating valuable skills and insights to share with my clients. I enjoy comedy, sports, hiking, distance running and video games on occasion.

My dedication to meditation and mindfulness is a cornerstone of my counseling approach.
